VII-International School on Light Sciences and Technologies

2024 16–20 June

The 2024 edition of the International School on Light Sciences and Technologies (VII-ISLiST) will  focus on "Light in Communications, Sensing and Lighting".

The event has been conceived as a great opportunity to review, actualize and improve the knowledge of scientists, professionals and technicians; to contribute to the education and to enhance the motivation of PhD students; to offer an ideal frame for networking and also to contribute to the education of the citizens. It is also a great opportunity to ensure that policymakers, entrepreneurs, and other key "actors" will be aware of the problem-solving potential of Photonics.

ISLiST grants are available, funded by the companies collaborating with the ISLiST summer school. The grants are mainly intended for international students that cannot apply to the official UIMP grants for EU nationals (current Standard UIMP Grants what call is currently open in April-May). So, any Bachelor, Master and PhD Student from any worldwide institution can apply to these ISLIST International Student Grants (IISG).

The ISLiST grants cover course registration fee, accommodation and living expenses for five days, from Sunday, June 16 to Friday, June 21. Please note that travel expenses are not covered.
