MIRPHAB offers services for the development of customized sensing modules able to provide the lowest detection limit and the highest sensitivity in real-time enabling miniaturization and
unattended operation.

Climate change monitoring, point-of-care autonomous detection systems, process yield optimization or emission controls are nowadays key societal challenges for sustainability and quality of life. Spectroscopic sensing in the MIR wavelength band (3- 12 μm) is a powerful analytical tool to address these challenges. Chemical exhibit in this wavelength band, the so-called fingerprint region, intense adsorptions features allowing superior detection capabilities and unambiguous identification.

The MIRPHAB target is to enable the widespread use of laser-based MIR-spectroscopic sensors to strengthen the competitiveness of the European industry in this field.
