The international Defence and Security Exhibition FEINDEF, with the institutional support of the Ministry of Defence (among others), is positioned as the most important event held in Spain in this sector. FEINDEF is the reference forum that encompasses the defence and security sector in Spain, to innovate, cooperate internationally and share knowledge between companies, institutions, universities, and other organisms, as a global response to security; it opens to the world by offering network opportunities: 40.000 m2 of exhibition space, with an attendance of over 450 exhibitors from 20 countries and 100 foreign delegations. In this framework, Fotónica21, the Spanish Photonics Technology Platform, organises the Worskhop Photonics 4 Defence & Security, which will take place on May 18th in one of the events' meeting rooms (A9.3).
