–Case: Varjo Technologies Oy The problem of virtual reality (VR) is a resolution. With technology inspired by human evolution, Varjo Technologies is the beginning of a revolution. Varjo is revolutionizing reality with technology that lets you see VR in human-eye resolution. That’s the first step on the road to a completely new kind of computing – where VR and XR become a natural extension of the real world. The Helsinki-based startup Varjo will give a case how they raised to $46m investments to date.

– Case: Specim Oy In order to reach the high-ends of precision, durability, and functionality, Specim has been in the forefront with new technological solutions applied to hyperspectral imaging. World class research, business, and defense organizations are relying on Specim quality when performance and reliability matters. Today more than 4 000 Specim’s instruments and spectrographs are delivered and in daily use. Specim will present the case how they found a key to become a technological leader in the realm of hyperspectral imaging.

– Case: Dispelix Oy US data analysis company Quid listed the 50 most promising startups (the list was published by Bloomberg). The top 50 were selected from 50,000 startups, with ‘artificial intelligence’ serving as one of the criteria. VTT spin-off, Dispelix Oy, is the only Finnish company to have made it into the top 50! Dispelix Oy produces high-performance Augmented Reality optics. Dispelix lenses are thin, mass-producible, high-performance and, due to their price structure, suitable for mass-manufactured consumer products.
