The Spanish Technology Platform for Photonics, Fotónica21, will be holding its Assembly on December 11th, 9.30h to 11.45h. The virtual event will feature prominent speakers as John Magan (Photonics Unit, European Commission), Markus Wilkens (Photonics21) and Fernando Martin (CDTI, Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation) that will present the relevance of Photonics as a key technology for Europe, the Horizon Europe PPP status and the strategic importance of the Photonics sector in Spain. Further, the event will count on two relevant presentations on new technology advances by Gediminas Raciukaitis (Laser Technologies, FTMC) and Julio Marco (Graphics and Imaging Lab, Universidad de Zaragoza) that will be followed by Fotónica21’s activity report.
