This year, the Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW-2021) conference www.csw2021.se will be held 9-13 May 2021 as online digital seminars and exhibition due to the pandemic.
This is the 47th time this international conference is being held and this time KTH is hosting.
The number of participants is usually around 400-450 participants when held as a live event on site.
There will be approx. 220 presentations and several exhibitors: 5 Keynote speakers 45 Invited talks 120 Contributed oral presentations 50 Poster contributions.
The focus of the conference was initially on physics and materials technology, but this has gradually shifted more towards appliances and integration. Nowadays, compound semiconductors have also made their entry into other areas of application such as power electronics and RF electronics, but photonics-related sessions still make up the major part of the conference.
