Dhriti Sundar Ghosh

Dhriti Sundar Ghosh has proven excellent research work on the development of photonic devices.  His research work is entitled “Photonic devices incorporating transparent electrodes made of ultra-thin metal films”. In particular Dhriti Sundar Ghosh has focussed on different UTMF based geometries for potential applications in Organic Light Emitting Diodes, photovoltaic cells – organic and inorganic – and displays. His contribution covers the full research chain: from fundamental studies, e.g. in the effect of interface between dielectrics and metals on optical and electrical properties, to devices, e.g. organic PV and OLEDs, and technology transfer activities in the photovoltaic, display and car industries. The Photonics21 Student Innovation award committee acknowledged the high level of innovation of an outstanding PhD student who has published 7 papers, has given 4 invited talks and holds 3 patent applications. Dhriti Sundar Ghosh currently works as a PhD Student at ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences.
