ICFO participates in the Master in Photonics offered by 4 Universities located in the Barcelona area (
http://www.icfo.es / Training). The master is comprehensive in the basics and applications of optical sciences. Special focus is devoted to applications in life sciences, nanotechnologies, and remote sensing.
ICFO offers a focused PhD program in Photonics that targets the most advanced topics in optical sciences and technologies (
http://www.icfo.es / Training). The program is structured along four main areas, namely Quantum Optics, Nonlinear Optics, Nanophotonics and Biophotonics. PhD Students in this program have access to cutting-edge experimental infrastructures and to specialized courses and seminars given by ICFO faculty. Entrepreneurship and commercialization techniques are also an integral part of the curricula. ICFO offers a variety of fellowships to well-qualified graduate students who wish to pursue this program. The ICFO PhD Fellowship Program welcomes applications from individuals with backgrounds in any scientific disciplines related to optics and photonics. Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. For further information, please visit:

ICFO, in collaboration with other European institutions, is offering an Erasmus Mundus Master Course (EMMC) and Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate (EMJD) EUROPHOTONICS, in Photonics Engineering, Nanophotonics and Biophotonics (
http://www.icfo.es / Training). Fellowships are offered by EU to EU and non-EU students willing to pursue EUROPHOTONICS EMMC and EMJD programs. For further information, please visit:
