SPIE Astronomical Telescopes and Instrumentation is the most prestigious event for experts working on ground- and space-based telescopes and the technologies and instrumentation that enable powerful discoveries about our past and provide glimpses into our future. The next Celtic Proposers' Day will be held on 3rd July 2012 at Hotel Estrel in Berlin in collocation with the Future Network and Mobile Summit (FuNeMS), which will be from 4 to 6 July at the same location. The Proposers' Day provides an important platform to present and discuss new project ideas targeted for submission to the Celtic autumn call (15 October 2012). In the context of convergence and innovation, the 21st Future Network and MobileSummit will address the challenges of building the Future Internet Infrastructure, based on mobile, wireless and fixed broadband communications technologies. The purpose of the School is provide PhD students and research scientists working in the field of laser-materials interactions with robust fundamental roots that often are lacking in their training, so that they could profitably interact with colleagues working in areas neighboring, but not coincident with their own research field. Although the School is geared towards the level of a PhD student, advanced undergraduate and Master students, as well as postdoctoral researchers are welcome to join.
